Permanent Brow Makeup

Grab your morning and relax because you’ll be saving at least 15 minutes from your makeup routine. This is your high maintenance way of not being high maintenance!

What are Nano Brows?

It is a tattooing technique where ink is implanted using a rotary machine to create hair strokes that build texture creating a fuller and more symmetrical brow. I study your natural eyebrows to create a pattern that beautifully blends with natural hair growth and we choose a color together so no one has to know.

The difference between Nano Brows and Microblading is the technique used. Blading is done with a blade, cutting the skin and implanting pigment into the skin manually. Blading is recommended for clients 20-40 years old with “normal” skin. Blading is not recommended for oily-skinned clients, mature-skinned clients, combination-skinned clients, clients with sun damage, clients with very vascular skin (visible capillaries), and so on. This is the majority of people. This is why I love Nano!

Nano deposits pigment one dot at a time, each dot implants pigment which yields better healed results AND long-term healed results. Dotting the skin VS cutting the skin is also better for the integrity of the skin and is suitable for the majority of skin types.

What are Powder Ombre Brows?

Powder ombré brows is a tattooing technique where ink is implanted using an ultra-fine needle that creates a shaded and defined eyebrow. Powder Ombré is perfect for those that want that makeup look. Once healed, this technique creates a soft and powdery makeup effect.

What are Combination Brows?

This technique involves both Nano hairstrokes and powder ombré fused together to create an amazing eyebrow with a fluffy front and defined tail.

Eyebrows

    • Are pregnant/Breastfeeding

    • Have used accutane in the past year

    • Have skin irritations, Psoriasis, or Eczema near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc)

    • Are diabetic (please consult a doctor)

    • Are receiving chemotherapy treatments (please consult a doctor)

    • Have viral infections and or diseases

    • Have epilepsy

    • Chemical peel within 2 weeks of your appointment

    • Are on any treatment, medication, or illness that compromises the immune system/ healing

  • You will get much better results when you are prepared. It all starts with a good canvas! The procedure area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive and non-irritated. Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure.

-Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before the procedure

-Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face/skin

-Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to treatment

-Do not work out the day of the procedure.

-Do not have botox 3 weeks prior

-Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior (natural blood thinners)

-Do not wax or tint your eyebrows 3 days before the procedure.

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:

-Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo

-Do not consume coffee or any caffeine 24 hours before your procedure

-Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief (this thins the blood)

  • Consult a healthcare provider if:

    >a rash develops

    >redness, tenderness or swelling

    doesn’t subside within 48 hours

    >a fever develops within 24 hours

-Blot brows with moist guaze pad every 30 minutes for two hours after leaving the treatment room

-After 24 hours cleanse eyebrows twice a day (AM & PM wash) for 7-10 days. Pat COMPLETELY DRY

-Following AM & PM wash apply rice size amount of moisturizer to COMPLETELY DRY eyebrows for 7-10 days

  • -Use a fresh pillowcase, silk pillowcases are especially nice to reduce friction

-Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of color

-No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks

-Avoid sweaty exercise, vigorous housework for one week

-Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors.

-Avoid long hot showers for the first 10 days.

-Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days. If you struggle with this try a travel pillow to keep your head straight.

-Avoid swimming, steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs for the first 10 days

-Avoid topical makeup including sunscreen on the area

-DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area.

-Avoid Retin-A, moisturizer, glycolic acids, exfoliants and anti-aging products always on the procedure area. These can cause pigments to fade

Depending on the clients skin and its ability to heal, please allow freshly treated eyebrows approximately seven to ten days to visibly heal. It is normal for eyebrows to look patchy during the healing process, it is always normal for the strokes to completely disappear during the healing process. The pigment will start to get darker day by day after day fourteen and will fully resurface in four to six weeks. Any area where the color didn’t retain and has caused a permanent gap of color will be corrected at your touch and should be scheduled within 90 days of your initial appointment or it may be subject to a higher touch up fee.

If you have any questions about the aftercare instructions please reach out.

Important note about showering:

Limit your showers to 5-10 minutes so you do not create too much steam. Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while you wash your body. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.

Remember, with the proper prep and aftercare routine you will have much better results with your brow procedure.
